Working With Computers, My passion didn’t begin with a technology background or any education in Computer Science. It began back in the 1990s when I started a new job as a Sales Representative with a company that sold business mailing equipment. I was assigned to a territory and had to attend a Training Program before I could market the products.

Working With Computers; How My Passion Started

After the training, I started my sales visits in my territory in a building occupied by many Business Offices. My work hours were 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. I made presentations to just about every office in the building with no success, after 5 p.m., I knew it should have been the close of my workday. However, there was one office I had not visited. I said to myself, “I can’t leave this building without presenting to this last office. Thank goodness, I made an amazing sale of our business equipment to that business. I was so excited!

My Passion for Working With Computers; My role as a Salesman.

After making my first sale, even though it was after hours, I went back to our Business Office. Our Manager was still at the office, and he inquired about my first day in my territory. I let him know how the day went, including the following At the end of the day, after many rejections. He was very complimentary and asked to talk about my day at the next office meeting. I felt really good about what I was doing, and by being persistent, I could effectively assist my customers with their equipment needs.

Working With Computers, My Passion: A Very Unique Beginning

Our Manager had been prepping us for a new product that was computer-based and would be a unique and innovative addition to our Business Machine Line. We were all very excited to see what this new product was all about, and I was surprised by our Manager’s explanation of this computer-based product.

He began by saying that a CD, one component of the device, can store an unimaginably large amount of data. When I heard him say this, it changed my perspective, even though I knew nothing about computer CDs, data, or computers in general. This invention would cut our customers’ mailing costs in half, he remarked.

I thought to myself, you’ve got to be kidding me, I have a customer who has 7K in mailing expenses each month. This got my attention, and after the meeting I called my customer and asked him one question: How would you like to save half your mailing cost? His response, you are my salesman, you know my monthly cost. He mentioned that he would be interested in learning how to save half on his mailing cost. We then scheduled an appointment for the next day.

Product Presentation on Floppy Disk, Solution to my Struggle

I was so thankful that we were given a “Floppy Disk” with the sales presentations on it. It was in the early 1990s, and I had never touched a computer. I didn’t even know what a floppy disk was until someone explained to me that it had the presentation on it.

When I arrived at my customer’s office, we met, and I immediately mentioned to him that this was a new product and I was not computer literate, but I had a floppy disk with the presentation on it. He said, “Hand it here.” I have a computer on my desk. He took the floppy disk and inserted it into his computer, and reviewed the complete presentation. I was so relieved!

After his review, he said, “This looks good. I would like a demonstration.” I called our office and set up the demo, and as I was leaving his office, I noticed that he had many computers throughout his office on the floor. I asked, why do you have all of these computers on the floor? His response, “We just upgraded, we have all new computers in our office.” I asked, what are you going to do with these? He said, “Sell them.” I asked him, “Would you sell me one?” He said, Sure, give me 200 dollars. I wrote him a check. I was super excited! I thought, now I have my own computer!

Product Demonstration at Our Office

The product demonstration at our Corp. Office went very well. My customer was amazed by the product demonstration and by the idea that he could save half of his mailing cost. He looked at me and said Del, bring the paperwork to my office this afternoon. I was one of the first salesman that sold this amazing system, even though I was not computer literate. This began my passion for working with computers.

Working With Computers, My Passion

The computer that I purchased from my customer was a 286 with a monochrome monitor, which by today’s standards would be considered a dinosaur. I was so excited that I had a computer in my house. I was fascinated beyond belief. I began to read every book I could find about computer technology.

The computer had a modem in it; however, I found it difficult to log into Blackboard. At that time, the Internet was not available as it is today, but there was the Blackboard. The old computer had a modem, but it did not work. I tried everything I could think of to make it work.

I read books from the library, and anywhere I could find a book on computers. I finally realized that it was broken. I saved and purchased a new one, and to my amazement, it worked. Of course, I did learn something when I read those books. My Knowledge about computers and computer technology increased significantly. I discovered something important: computers reward persistence. Eventually, I sold the old 286 for more than I paid for it.

Increasing My Knowledge and Experience

I then bought a 386 from a used computer store. It was much faster than the 286. I was excited, and I started studying how to build computers. I went to Swap Meets and bought computer parts, and I began to take them apart and put them back together. This became almost an obsession with me.

As the 1990s progressed, computers became more common in businesses. Networking expanded. Software evolved. The internet began changing everything. And I found myself increasingly drawn into that world.

I felt like I had missed out on the computer age, and I started to do everything I could to learn more about computing. I sold the 386 and bought myself a 486. I thought I had arrived, and I remember I had bought enough parts to build my first computer.

I remember when I finished putting it together, when I was ready to plug it into the electrical socket, my hands started to tremble; I thought it might blow up! LOL! I plugged it in, and it worked. To me, this was a great accomplishment. I was so excited!

Working With Computers, My Passion Read and Study

As I grew in knowledge began to regularly build computers as a hobby. I then started looking at Apple Computers. I was so impressed with Steve Jobs and the accomplishments that he had made in the Computer Industry. He was a truly brilliant visionary who made a tremendous impact on technology.

At work, I started becoming the unofficial “computer guy.” My coworkers would ask me to look at their systems. Clients would mention issues, and I’d find myself offering to help troubleshoot. What began as curiosity had now turned into capability.

Now, I have many computers in my home, both Windows PCs and Macs. Of course, my 27″ iMac and my MacBook Pro are my favorites. I also have an HP Victus Gaming Laptop that’s awesome. Working with computers has continued to be a big hobby for me. That’s why I can say working with computers continues to be one of my passions.

I use my Macs and my Windows PC Laptop to do my Online Marketing Business. See Details on Options for Affiliate Marketing Here: Along the way, my curiosity became a calling and my passion. When I look back, I realize that my passion wasn’t born in a single moment. It developed gradually. It was nurtured by exposure, curiosity, hands-on experimentation, and a willingness to learn more about technology in an era when my learning required a great amount of effort.

It started in a job that seemed unrelated. It grew through observation and an idea from an unknown source. It deepened through my experience and enlightenment. And it solidified through success after many failures.

About Us and About Me. Let me provide you with some information about us. We are an amazing group of entrepreneurs who do some great things with online marketing. I came across this online marketing opportunity 4 years ago, and it has changed my view of the way business should be done. I am retired after working for the State of Texas for several years. After managing various offices in Texas for over 23 years and looking forward to retiring, I always knew that I would have a desire to start a business. I just didn’t know what kind of work-from-home opportunity I wanted to start.

I knew that I would need a great deal of capital to start my own work-from-home opportunity, which would include a physical location, inventory, employees, and other major expenses like business materials and business tools. I was very concerned because I did not want to use my own money to start a business, and I knew that it would take several years to build a profitable business. I knew that I would have to look at borrowing the capital to get started.

About Us and About Me, possibilities after retirement

I was tired of having to trade hours for dollars and end up with a pension and social security. I wanted to start a business that I could be able to develop legacy income for my family. This led me to a page on the internet that mentioned being one of the top ways to work from home online. This really caught my attention. I read all of the information and decided that I would see what this was all about.

I was very intrigued by the many possibilities that I ran across as I perused the web, and became excited about being able to find a way to work from home online. After working for the State of Texas for 23 years as a Manager, and in Corporate America for many years, I retired. I was not aware of blogging or how to blog; I didn’t know how to do it, but I knew that I could do it. And yes, it was a challenge for me. I learned fast and utilized the skills I learned working in Corporate America and as a Manager for a State Agency. I knew I would be successful if I were consistent and persistent in doing the work. As well, I worked diligently to bring others on board to build a team. A few months after I got started, I became an Instructor and began to teach others how to build their business. I was also very impressed with the training aspect of RRR247, it provides an incredible process to grow and learn the business of building an online community.

About Us and About Me, Amazing Parents and Siblings

My parents were amazing! My dad was born on a farm in a little town in Texas named Crockett, TX. He was an incredible man who finished the 8th grade but was one of the smartest men I have ever known. As a young man he joined the Air Force and made it a career. He retired after 24 years. He really loved being in the Air Force and was honored to be a Master Sargent. He taught me many principles as a child that I still live by today.

He loved my mother; they were introduced by a friend who was also in the Air Force. My mother was a very beautiful lady, and my dad fell head over heels in love at first sight. We had an great family and were lead by awesome leadership of my dad and my mother. They always worked to ensure that we were provided guidance and leadership as we were growing up. I miss them dearly.

My dad would always teach me about having a great work ethic. He was a hard-working man who knew the value of hard work. Although he only completed the 8th grade in school, he read a lot and had a great work ethic. My mother was a housewife and really never had to work. My dad took care of the home finances and allowed my mother to take care of their children in a way that provided us guidance to do the right things and live a good life. I deeply appreciate my parents for their love of family and for providing the right leadership and example.

The Beauty of Smooth Jazz Music has always been something that has captured my attention. My love of this music started as a child. My older brother would play amazing music on our record player and it grabbed my attention right away. I was thinking, wow; this music is so cool. Many of my friends did not understand why I liked this music so much and would criticize me my love of great sounding smooth music. I didn’t care I would sometimes just sit in a room alone and take in musicians like Organist Jimmy Smith; I just absolutely loved the way he played the organ. I started to save my money to buy albums.

When I was still very young my brother joined the military and ended up moving to Los Angeles California. By then I was a young man that was working for a large corporation as Buyer/Merchandiser. We had an amazing Sales Meeting in Las Vegas Nevada Several of my colleagues had relatives in L.A. and we decided to rent a car and drive there to be with our kin folks.

The Beauty of Smooth Jazz Music; One of my greatest experiences happened in Los Angeles

Being my first time in L.A. I was fascinated with this incredible city. My brother took me to Beverly Hills and to Palm Springs where he had a second home on a Golf Course. My brother is a golf fanatic and has been playing the game for years. One night during my visit he mentioned that we were going to a very nice club where I would love the amazing music.

I was so excited, I couldn’t wait. When we arrived I am thinking, this is a nice place and the music is awesome. To my surprise there was an beautiful organ with seats situated where some could sit close and watch the musician up close. We were there a little early and the musician was not playing at the time. As me an my brother were conversing and enjoying the atmosphere, To my surprise the musician showed up and started playing. I’m thinking, this guy sounds like Jimmy Smith. I looked around and, to my surprise, it was this amzaing musician playing that organ.

I said to my brother, Bro why didn’t you tell me that Jimmy Smith would be playing here. He said, ” I knew that you loved this music form and Jimmy Smith was your favorite. Back then the big thing with music was albums. I had just about every album that Jimmy Smith put out there. This made my day. I was beyond excited, got to meet my favorite musician up close and in person.

Other memories of my love for this very cool Music

I remember a time when I was in college. My roommates did not like favorite music and whenever I played it on my reccord player they would leave. I didn’t care I just did my thing and enjoyed my amazing music. One evenings I put on some John Coltrane, a saxophonist, a composer and band leader. As usual my roommates left. No problem, I sit there as usual and enjoyed some of my very soothing music.

All of a sudden I heard a knock on my door, I opened the door and a gentleman I had never met said, is that John Coltrane you are listening to. I said, it certainly is. He said do you mind if I come in and listen, John Coltrane is one my favorite musicians. We shook hands and I said sure, come on in. He mentioned that he was from Los Angeles CA. and he had no idea that Texans liked that genre of music. Well, I said, this is one Texan who does.

He laughed when I told him that my roommates would leave when I put the music on that I loved so much. We listened for a while and he thanked me for the experience. We became good friends. It’s awesome how the sound of music can bring people together for a very positive experience. This is what I love about it. It’s unique and you experience soulful vibrations as you listen to it.

As I grew older I stopped listeng to my favorite music like I used to

I remember my last job before I retired; I worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Manager for a State Agency. While I was a Counselor we had a training in Austin, TX, I was fairly new the agency and another new counselor rode with me to the training. We both lived in houston and he rode with me to the training in Austin. I had a nice car with a cassette tape. My friend had also brought some tapes with him to play in his hotel room.

The conversation of music came up and we realized that we both loved smooth music; however, I told him that I had drifted away from listening is much as I used to. He said, Man have you ever heard Paul Hardcastle, I said no I haven’t. He said put this into you tape player. I was like Wow Man I love this music. This experience brought amazing memories. When I got bacd to Houston I was hooked again. I started buy this genre of albums and tapes again.

At that time you could buy music online, my music collection grew exponentially. I had everything I could find by Paul Hardcastle. The newer versions of this amazing was growing and my expanded knowledge of the Artists and brought this genre of music back into my life. Myself and my colleague Kendall became good friends and we still are. I am an Old Dude now but I still love to listen to this incredible Music. It’s relaxing and gives that inner sense of calm in a very busy world. I was so thankful that Kendall got me back to one my favorite past times, listening to amazing Music.

Velovita Opportunity: Something to consider; most people are concerned about health, wellness as well as looking for other resources to generate income. I was no different, I have always been concerned about health and fitness and generating more income. I was looking for something unique, innovative and worth considering as side income after my retirement. I wanted to find something that provided products that were proven when it comes to health and wellness and could possibly create flexible income opportunities.

I have worked hard all of my life and had a successful career; however, I’ve never wanted to settle for what I was paid on a job. I was looking for something that would provide life changing income if I worked hard and get paid based on my actions, not just a set salary.

This began to happen after my retirement when I realized that I had to live off 60{1719983c6c2f9e11c21b4373cc73d0a6d78fb1621f4df2ef32eb134ad67b9ec6} of my salary and social security. Even though this was enough for me to live on, it was not creating the dream lifestyle that always wanted to have. The settle for income did not even approach the dream income that I would prefer. Many years I worked in Corporate America and State Government which provided a good living but didn’t provide the income I needed to create a great lifestyle. I was looking!

Velovita Opportunity, The Experience That Made the Difference

Most people work hard all of their life then retire and have to live on a penchent or retirement pay which is always less than what they made working full time. I was no different; however, when I retired I wanted to start a business. I was looking! And, at the same time I was beginning to be concerned about my health and wellness.

My wife began to do a lot of research on the foods that we ate and we make some commitments to start watching what we ate and how we would grow in knowledge and understanding of benefits of eating healthy foods and finding the right supplements. As I continued to look for opportunities after retirement I came upon an ad online about online business opportunities. This ad caught my eye, I read all about it and decided that this business offer exactly what I was looking for.

I later received a call from a lady from Ohio provided some information about the business opportunity that I had signed up for. I was curious and wanted to know the types of Affiliates that we would be marketing product for. She mentioned several, including Velovita. This really peaked my interest due to my interest in health and wellness in my retirement age. I signed for the business opportunity that day and have no regrets to this day.l

Looking at the Extraordinary Velovita Bio-Hacking Opportunity

My Instructor approached me about joining the Velovita Opportunity. She went to detail to explain the uniqueness, quality and effectiveness of the Velovita products. I didn’t join immediately, however, it didn’t take me long to make a decision to join this amazing Affiliate. After hearing several testimonies and doing a little researching I found that Velovita was an awesome company that marketing World Class Health and Fitness products. I started using the products and I was amazed by the uniqueness and wellness solutions offered.

I can remember one time when we had a training by our CEO Rory Ricord. He mentioned that he one day where he was extremely busy, he was exhausted by the end of the day but was not quite finished. He said he had a few of the Velovita prducts called Brān that day. He mentioned that he was so exhausted he took one more Brān and it did the trick to get him through that day.

As I was watching, I realized that I had a very busy day, that day, and I was very exhausted trying to get through this training. I said to myself I’ve got Brān and I usually only take it in the morning. I am going to take one now, and WOW, 10 to 15 minutes later I felt and energy surge and I felt great. This stuff really works. I thought to myself, this stuff really works. This amazing product was designed to porvide immediate mental clarity, energy and focus. I was convinced!
